When you’re busy running a business or doing day to day tasks, there’s not much time to sit in front of a computer to update your website with news and send out email newsletters and the like.

This is where devices like the smart phone are invaluable when loaded with handy apps like ubertwitter.

I recently downloaded the Ubertwitter app for Blackberry in order to test how it works and to use it for updating the Octavian website when on the move. Downloading the app was simple, using Blackberry App World and it installed very quickly and without any problems. The set up was also straight forward although, there were quite a few set up screens to go through and the whole thing took around 5 minutes to get up and running.

There are all the simple functions you would need in a Twitter app along with a lot of functions devoted to your location. You can upload photos and videos and locate where other Twitter users are in relation to you.

So far it works well and does everything you would want a mobile Twitter app to do.
